Video Projects
This is a collection of some of the best video projects that I've worked on. All of these were edited by me using Adobe Premiere and some were shot by me as well. A lot of this is comprised of videos that I made for the social media pages of Weber State University sports teams as well as a few class projects.
January 20th Basketball Hype Video
a short highlight video made to promote the then upcoming Weber State men's basketball game. This was posted online using the story feature on Instagram and on Facebook.
Kathy Miller Jersey Retirement
A video used to celebrate the accomplishments of former WSU athlete, Kathy Miller. The interviews were shot be me and another intern. I did all of the editing. We were on a short time limit making this but we were able to make something of high quality in less than a day. This was shown at the celebration.
Dick Motta Jersey Retirement
A video commemorating the achievements of former WSU and NBA coach, Dick Motta. The interviews were taken on zoom. This video was shown live during half time at the final home basketball game of the season on March 5 2022.
Football Hype Video
A video meant to promote the football season and get fans hyped and wanting to attend the games. It includes footage from the games as well as the tailgate party called Fan Fest. This was posted to the teams Instagram story on October 30, 2021.
Volleyball Video Promo
A short video made to promote a volleyball game on Instagram and Facebook. I used footage taken of the team practicing. Posted on October 7, 2021.
MBB Intro Recut Compilation
To change up the kind of video content that we were posting, I was tasked to take the video that we used to introduce the basketball team at the start of the games and make re-edits of it to promote upcoming games through Instagram stories.
Cardboard TV Head Man
A short film that I made with some friends for my cinematography class in November 2019. From this I learned how to operate professional camera equipment as well as use my video editing knowledge to create unique visual effects. I wrote, shot, and edited this short together. I used this project as an excuse to experiment with Adobe After Effects, mainly the motion-tracking features.
February 19th Hype Video
Yet another highlight video, this time utilizing footage that was personally captured by me and another intern. This was used to promote the game as well as raise awareness of a charity event that was happening at the same time.
2022 Cheer Leading Video
A video created for the Weber State Cheer Squad. I worked directly with the coach of the team to shoot the video.
Football Hype 2022
The final highlight hype video I produced for Weber. This one promoting the 2022 football season.
Student Section Destruction
This video was made to mainly showcase the student section of the stands at sporting events in order to encourage a higher turnout of WSU students at the events. This was posted to the wsudestruction instagram page.
Aquatic Anomalies Iceberg Explained
A YouTube video that I put together in my spare time. I did the editing, voice-over, and audio. With a runtime of nearly 41 minutes It's easily the longest project that I've worked on.
